Professional Home EV Charger Installation
A dedicated home EV charger provides faster, safer and more convenient charging than a standard domestic socket. A 7kW wall-mounted charger can typically recharge most electric vehicles overnight, and many units include smart features to help reduce running costs.
My EV Box manages the full installation process — from reviewing your property photographs through to testing, certification and DNO notification where required. All work is carried out by Grays Electrical and Compliance Ltd, an NICEIC Approved Contractor and OZEV Approved Installer with over 30 years of electrical experience.
We supply and install a range of chargers from leading manufacturers including Ohme, BG Sync EV, Myenergi Zappi, Hypervolt and others. The most appropriate unit for your property and vehicle is recommended during the quotation process.

Dedicated Final Circuit
A dedicated circuit is installed from your consumer unit to the charger location, with appropriate protective devices fitted.
DNO Notification Included
Where required by current regulations, Distribution Network Operator notification is submitted on your behalf.
Electrical Installation Certificate
An EIC is issued on completion of every installation, confirming the work has been tested and certified to BS 7671.
Photo-Based Quotation
Upload photographs of your consumer unit and intended charger location. A qualified electrician reviews them before providing a quotation.
Typical Pricing
Standard home EV charger installations start from approximately £749, subject to charger model, cable length, cable route, electrical supply and review of photographs or a site survey.
